The use of thrust ball bearings:
It is only suitable for parts with a low axial load and low speed, such as crane hooks, vertical pumps, vertical centrifuges, jacks, low speed reducers, etc. The shaft ring, race and rolling element of the bearing are separated and can be assembled and disassembled separately.
There are two key points in the assembly of thrust ball bearings. One is the control of the quality of the cage and the steel ball, and the other is the control of the nominal height T after the bearing is assembled. In addition, because the shaft ring and the seat ring can be separated, it brings a management problem. It is to prevent the mixing of imported bearing parts. M-type stamping cages use flanged assembly molds. After pressing, the steel ball is required to rotate in the pocket, but it cannot be detached from the pocket, and the technical procedure is to check the amount of movement of the steel ball in the pocket. The solid cage embossing pressure is too deep, so that the steel ball has a small amount of turbulence, and the connection between the embossed convex portion and the cage is too small and the strength is insufficient, and the block phenomenon is likely to occur, causing the cage to be scrapped. The size of the small thrust ball bearing race and the inner diameter of the shaft ring is very small, and there is no significant difference between the two sets. In order to prevent the occurrence of the mixing phenomenon, it is the case that the set of bearings is a trap or a shaft ring. This requires certain measures. Usually, the laps and the laps are distinguished by the auxiliary tooling, or the inner diameter is checked by the inner diameter plug gauge before the nominal height is sampled. In order to check the inner diameter, the seat is placed under the collar and the collar is placed above. If the inner diameter of the seat is obviously quenched and heated or not ground, it is not necessary to check the inner diameter. It is obvious that the shaft is different from the seat and it is difficult to mix. After the thrust ball bearing is assembled, the nominal height T is measured and confirmed to be a lily grid. When measuring, calibrate with a height block or standard piece and measure the load. The bearing needs to be rotated dozens of times, and the minimum height must be reached.
When the thrust ball bearing is operated under high speed conditions, the contact angle between the steel ball and the radial plane of the raceway is affected by the centrifugal force, thereby causing the steel ball to slide relative to the raceway. Adhesive wear caused by such sliding can damage the bearing. In order to prevent such damage, the minimum load on the thrust ball bearing must be guaranteed.
